Some seasons feel like a page turn. Others feel like a bookmark - hopefully not stuck, just… held. (Though I’ll admit, the smile you see in the picture above doesn’t reflect how I feel most of the time. I’m a go-getter by nature.)
I’ve been back in Australia for about two months now. Conversations with mission organisations are happening, but progress has been slow (holiday season timing is real). It’s been a slightly painful kind of quiet - and also, strangely, perhaps a gift: space to pray, listen, and let the next chapter arrive at a human pace.
One thread has stayed steady through it all: STORY.
Not so much of story as “content” only, but story as a way of seeing - paying attention to what God is doing, what I am doing, and what’s worth honouring.
My Missionary Profile: My Story in One Place
Over the past little while I’ve taken time to reflect on my journey - especially the last two years of mission life and I’ve put together a missionary profile that tells my story in one place.

And I’d genuinely love your input:
If anything comes to mind after reading - a place, a person, an organisation, an idea - please just hit reply. Sometimes the next step arrives through community.
A Story Close to Home: Tuckerbox
Tuckerbox has been one of the most grounding parts of this season. It’s a local community work that helps make good food accessible for people doing it tough - and it’s also a place where small conversations matter, where people are seen, and where dignity is quietly protected.
One of the main ministries I’ve been doing in this season is telling the story of Tuckerbox - using visuals to honour the people, the work, and the heart behind it.

Looking Ahead: Storytelling as a Way of Serving
That Tuckerbox experience has showed me something. That’s the kind of work I want to explore - storytelling that builds trust, invites support, and honours people’s humanity.
And just to clarify my posture: I’m not looking to function as a content producer only. I’m offering storytelling as a shared practice that grows out of lived relationships.
My primary calling is relational presence and community life. Visual art and storytelling are skills I bring in service of that - not standalone outputs.

This example shows how I’m learning to tell stories - slowly, relationally, and in service of the people and communities involved.
If you have thoughts, critiques, or ideas - even small ones - I’d love to hear them. I’m trying to hold this with open hands, and learn in community.
How you can pray/help
Prayer
For patience and clarity in this quieter season of discernment
For the right relationships and team fit (not just a role)
For Tuckerbox - provision, protection, and the people who come through each week
Ideas / introductions
If you know a mission context that values relational presence and storytelling, I’d love an introduction
If you know someone doing similar work (storytelling as service), I’d love to have a chat.
